Read Genesis 5

This is a chapter that many people just skip over when they read Genesis. Don’t do that!

• What is your first thought when you read this chapter?
• Which one of these people lived the longest? Shortest?
• Look at the description of Enoch. How is his life described in vv 23-24?
• Pay close attention to this family tree. Who was the father of Noah? Why was he named Noah?
• A family heritage can be terribly important. Do you have any ancestors who were godly men and women? What are your thoughts on passing that godly heritage on to your descendants?

Ask God to show you how you can be more faithful to Him today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life.
